On the afternoon of July 20, a delegation led by Mr. Vu Le Thai Hoang, Director General of the Institute for Foreign Policy and Strategic Studies, Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam (DAV), visited and worked at the Quality Tech Solution Complex (QTSC).
Also participating in the delegation was Mr. Nguyen Hai Luu, Deputy Director General of the Foreign Policy Department. Warmly welcoming the delegation was Mr. Vu Quang, Deputy CEO of QTSC, and representatives of some departments/centers under QTSC.
Within the framework of a national project on the global situation during 2025-2045 and forecast and orientation of Vietnam's foreign policy, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs conducted a survey to collect information from a number of organizations and universities in Ho Chi Minh City, including QTSC.
The meeting mainly focused on the following topics:
- An overview of the operation model of QTSC.
- Conduction of survey regarding the global situation during 2025-2045 and forecast and orientation of Vietnam's foreign policy.
- The role of QTSC in trade, investment, technology development in Ho Chi Minh City and the whole country as well.
- Evaluation of the impact of the city's international economic integration on QTSC's activities.
- The advantages and difficulties that QTSC has faced in promoting its important role as a driving force for the regional economic growth, and the science-technology development in Ho Chi Minh City as well as the southern region.
Also, within the framework of the project, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs hosted a national seminar in Ho Chi Minh City on July 21, called "Reviewing the reform process of external affairs between 1986 and now, and discussing the orientation for 2025-2045."
