On 24 February 2019, Vietnam IT Software and Services Association (VINASA) have organized the Executive Board Meeting and Spring’s Member Gathering in Ho Chi Minh City with topic "Digital Transformation".

Moderating this meeting was Mr. Lam Nguyen Hai Long, CEO of Quang Trung Software City (QTSC), Vice President of VINASA. Besides connecting participants, reporting the activities of VINASA in 2018 and association’s overall plan in 2019, Long have informed the foundation of VINASA Office in Ho Chi Minh City (acronym as VINASA HCM), as well as shared its orientation and the list of actions in 2019.

VINASA HCM is established with the goal of supporting its member enterprises in the Southern region, thereby increasing the number of active members, developing VINASA's activities in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Through major IT events and programs, VINASA wish to assist members to find customers, partners, expand relationships, improve high-quality human resources. Besides, VINASA will play as a hub of receiving the recommendations/reflects of members and industry enterprises on difficult issues to the government and the city, especially IT-related policies.

VINASA HCM also assists the Head Office of VINASA in Hanoi to implement activities, programs, events and work with businesses quickly and effectively.

Office structure of VINASA HCM

Orientation of VINASA HCM in 2019:

• Building the VINASA HCM office apparatus with specialized, stable and positive personnel; improving the  prestigious brand name of VINASA in the South.
• Creating effective communication channels between Southern regional members and the Office via Email, Google Groups system, etc.
• Through major events of the industry, VINASA HCM will support members to find customers, partners, expand relationships and improve high-quality human resources.
• Organizing monthly networking and membership exchange activities through professional clubs: CEO, CTO, CPO.
• Organizing training programs on project management, corporate governance, working skills, ... to help improving the operational efficiency of member enterprises.
• Strengthening relationships with leaders of People's Committees and departments in Ho Chi Minh City and Southern provinces to propose policies for industry and businesses.
• Strengthening relationships with technology parks, software zones and other organizations to create technological ecosystem in order to develop the IT industry
