In the morning of December 23, a delegation of lecturers and students from the University Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (Brunei) visited and worked at Quang Trung Software City (QTSC) and Quang Trung Incubator (QTi).
Opening the program, Dr. Abd Nasir bin Haji Abd Rani, Dean Faculty of Islamic Economics and Finance said that through the study trip to Vietnam from 22 to 29 December, they desired to visit QTSC aiming to learn about the operating model here, especially exchange and collect more practical knowledge, experience from startups operating in QTSC and QTi.
At the meeting, representatives of QTSC introduced the establishment and development process as well as key milestones of the park. Answering many questions of the delegation about the support policies of the country, Ho Chi Minh City and QTSC for startups.

After listening to the introduction of QTSC, Dr. Abd Nasir bin Haji Abd Rani added that every year the university sends students abroad to practice from 1 to 6 months to get students familiar with the international working environment/wastewater. Vietnam is a dynamic and fast growing market in ASEAN and Asia, so the school wishes to send students to practice on internship projects at companies in Vietnam.
Then, the delegation took a tour to visit some startups at QTi such as LendViet, Biz4 and Winsoft.
