The 9th information security workshop this year featured nine presentations, including a session from QTSC on “Enhancing mitigation and response against ransomware”.
Amid rapid digital transformation, cybersecurity threats are rising both in volume and sophistication. Ransomware, in particular, has emerged as one of the most dangerous threats, causing severe damage to organizations, enterprises, and individuals. Recent statistics show a significant increase in ransomware attacks (1.3 times in globally and nearly double in Vietnam compared to 2023), with cybercriminals becoming smarter and stealthier. The consequences of ransomware attacks go beyond data loss and business disruption, leading to financial losses, and brand damage. Therefore, enhancing mitigation and response against ransomware is an urgent demand for all organizations and individuals.
With tech-forward security solutions powered by cutting-edge technologies from leading global security companies, QTSC provides cybersecurity services, aimed at upgrading mitigation and response against ransomware, ensuring the security of Ho Chi Minh City Data Center, on-site administration systems and enterprise systems. Moreover, through the presentation, QTSC shared some government regulations, dispatches, and legal guidelines to ensure information security implement and strengthen the protection of information systems.
