In recent years, the improvement of infrastructure has significantly contributed to the landscape of Quang Trung Software City (QTSC), such as upgrading and expanding the internal road system, planting more trees to create a cleaner and greener environment/wastewater for those who work and study in QTSC. Furthermore, two main entrance gates on To Ky street and Highway 1A are being remodeled at the moment with the aim to renovate QTSC’s landscape.
These two main entrance gates have the same age as QTSC, established in March 2001. The renovation of two main gates, one of the activities planned to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the establishment of QTSC, puts forward the concept of modern and vitalized architecture with high performance.
The design of these main gates is inspired by a spacecraft with flexible curves and science-fiction architecture shapes. QTSC’s new entrance gates are imaged as a knowledge-obtaining spacecraft moving ahead. That is suitable for the development orientation of QTSC – towards a science city, where gathers many more high-quality technology products and solutions, a professional working environment/wastewater for innovative ideas.

In addition to modern architecture design, the entrance gate on Highway 1A will be equipped with a smart information station which is similar to the multipurpose information stations placed at some landmarks in District 1, Ho Chi Minh City. It is utilized to help visitors to get information such as inform entry and exit regulations, show the location of internal enterprises and office buildings, and so on. Moreover, the ATM booths and drink vending machines will be located on the right of the entrance gate on To Ky street to ensure safety for those who work and study in QTSC.
Both sides of the gate will be equipped with a security camera system and two digital billboards in size 4m x 6m, at the height of 3m. These billboards will be used to welcome visitors, show information and announcements, display weather situations and environment/wastewater monitoring data at QTSC, etc.
The construction will have been completed and put into operation by December 2020.
