On December 26, 2024, the Office of the People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City officially launched the new version of the city’s E-Portal in a ceremony.
The Ho Chi Minh City E-Portal serves as the official online communication channel of the People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City. It disseminates the Party and State’s guidelines, policies, and laws while providing information on the city’s people, potential, policies, and public administrative services. The portal also highlights the activities of the city government and citizens.
Over more than 22 years of development, the E-Portal has effectively contributed to enhancing transparency in governmental operations, advancing administrative reform, and meeting the information needs of citizens and enterprises.
The new version of the Ho Chi Minh City E-Portal incorporates the latest technology, ensuring improved compatibility across operating systems and devices, including computers and smartphones. It features enhanced optimization, security, and capacity to handle high traffic volumes. The updated portal introduces significant features, such as:
- Integration and interconnection: Seamless data sharing and connectivity with member portals and city information systems.
- Online Q&A and feedback reception: A responsive online communication channel for addressing public inquiries, receiving, and processing citizen feedback in a timely manner.
- Public policy contribution: Enabling citizens to contribute opinions to policy and law-making processes.
- Virtual assistant: Facilitating quick and convenient access to information and services.
- Livestreaming: Broadcasting major city events and activities in real-time.
