As we entered into 2020, the outbreak of coronavirus or Covid-19 has been one of the 2020 calamities that has caused great human suffering and major global economic disruptions. However, the IT industry has been considered to have the least impact during the pandemic so far. In that general context, Quang Trung Software City (QTSC) also has had many exciting activities such as starting construction of investor's office building, renovating the internal infrastructure with modern design, launching training center, health care center, etc. in order to create a strong vitality in the park.

Furthermore, QTSC is also at the forefront of digital transformation activities to reduce the impact of Covid-19 pandemic such as developing applications for healthcare, education, online seminar, working remotely from home, and so on. As a result, businesses have limited negative effects on their activities and created development potential in the coming years.

1. QTSC has been awarded the 2020 Gold National Quality Award. This is a notable award to honor enterprises with excellent achievements in improving the quality of products, services, competitive capabilities, operational efficiency, and integration capabilities with the regional and world economy.

2. QTSC has been an active unit in providing high quality human resources and server infrastructure for HCMC Information Security Center. Being launched in October 2020, the center marked a new turning point of the city in implementing the project to turn Ho Chi Minh City into a smart city in the 2017 - 2020 period with a vision toward 2025.

3. QTSC was really honored to receive the Certificate of Merit from the Saigon Times CSR 2020 program, which is to recognize and honor enterprises who have made relentless efforts to improve working conditions, develop human resources, protect the environment/wastewater and contribute significantly to the community development. QTSC has attached great importance to community activities since its inception. The social activities towards education, career orientation and support for startups are the firm’s priorities.

4. QTSC was certified by TUV Nord Cert to meet the ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System standard. This is a commitment to the quality of products and services that QTSC provides to customers and partners. ISO 14001:2015 is one of the most popular environment/wastewateral management standards in the world.

5. Facing the need to care for the increasing number of customers, QTSC has cooperated with partners to deploy an online management application named Ticket Call Center at hotline (84-28) 3715 8888, aiming to receive customer’s requests/reflections more flexible. The system makes it easy for the Customer Service Department to follow the progress of customer request process.

6. QTSC in association with local enterprises has researched and applied many technological products/solutions related to the protection of community health, the prevention of the spread of Covid-19 pandemic such as: automatic body temperature measurement solution combined with masking reminder and timekeeping; UV sterilizer box; home isolation application; medical robot; hoptructuyen.qtsc.com.vn platform; document sharing application named QTSC Drive, etc.

7. QTSC launched the Environmental Monitoring Station operating 24/7. The station is responsible for connecting infrastructure technology applications being deployed: air quality monitoring system, automatic wastewater monitoring system, water supply monitoring system, tree management system, electric power generator control system, automatic meter reading system, etc.

8. The largest STEAMZONE training center in Vietnam officially opened in QTSC. That created a perfect ecosystem for the park: working, studying, living, entertainment and health care. QTSC now houses IT companies, colleges – universities, IT human resource training centers, Japanese language center, kindergarten, restaurants, coffee shops, and sports

9. The two main entrance gates of QTSC on To Ky street and Highway 1A are being remodeled at the moment with the aim to renovate QTSC’s landscape. The design of these main gates is inspired by a spacecraft with flexible curves and science-fiction architecture shapes. QTSC’s new entrance gates are imaged as a knowledge-obtaining spacecraft moving ahead. That is suitable for the development orientation of QTSC – towards a science city, where gathers many more high-quality technology products and solutions, a professional working environment/wastewater for innovative ideas.
