To serve the citizen's needs in home health care, as well as support the transportation of Covid-19 patients to hospitals, the Department of Health of Ho Chi Minh City has established five 115 satellite stations, including: one 115 emergency center in District 10 and four subdivisions (East, West, South, North). The field 115 satellite station in District 12 (North subdivision) has been located in Quang Trung Software City (QTSC).
Each station currently has a capacity of 20 ambulances standing in the area, ensuring 24/7 operation with the main tasks:
- Organize emergency teams outside the hospital that approach patients in the community and transport them to the hospital for further treatment.
- Perform first aid for Covid-19 patients and transport them to appropriate treatment facilities.
The field 115 satellite station in District 12
The field 115 satellite station located in QTSC, Tan Chanh Hiep Ward, District 12 is in charge of transporting patients in Cu Chi District, Hoc Mon District, District 12 and Go Vap District to 12 hospitals located in these areas.
At the station in QTSC, 280 medical and patient transport staff were arranged to stay at Innovation Building, lot 24 in order to ensure safe pandemic prevention.
Previously, on July 28, the field 115 emergency center was also officially put into operation at QTSC Building 1 with a capacity of 40 transmission lines to make sure all calls to the switchboard are heard and handled.
