In the evening of February 21st 2020, the delegation of People’s Committee of District 11 came to visit Quang Trung Software City (QTSC).

Leading the delegation was Mr. Tran Phi Long - Deputy Party Committee Secretary, the Chairman of People’s Committee of District 11, along with Vice Chairmen and leaders of professional departments. Mr. Hoang Minh Tri – Deputy CEO of QTSC gratefully welcomed the delegation to visit Quang Trung Software City and explore the Smart City model of QTSC.

At the meeting, Mr. Tran Phi Long – Chairman of People’s Committee of District 11 said: the purpose of the meeting is to learn experiences of implementing Smart City model in Quang Trung Software City. From that, District 11 plans to build the Smart City program based on available technologies and developing more applications in according to the social economy status of District 11.

Mr. Tran Hoang Nam – Manager of QTSC Telecommunication Center introduced QTSC’s data center infrastructure, technology applications, solutions and services that QTSC has implemented to serve for Ho Chi Minh City E-government program. QTSC Telecom also provides diversified services such as internet connectivity, infrastructure data center, cloud computing, business continuity management service, cyber security.

Moving to the next part of the meeting, the representative of Technological Solutions Section introduced about Quang Trung Software City and the Integrated Operation Center (QTSC IOC). This system connected all IoT systems in one centralized platform: Smart lighting system, Environmental monitoring system, Wastewater management system, Video management system applied by AI technology, Building management system, Free wifi, Drive & photo integrated solution, remote electricity meter, Smart water meter and others solutions.

In June 2019, QTSC was honored to receive the 2nd prize from “Ho Chi Minh City Creative Award 2019” of People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City with QTSC IOC. QTSC was also the first state-owned enterprise in Ho Chi Minh City to be certified as a Science and Technology Enterprise.
