On April 20 2021, Mr. Dong Van Thanh - Deputy Secretary of the Hau Giang provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Hau Giang People's Committee led the delegation, including leaders of Department of Information and Communication, Department of Labour – Invalids and Social Affairs, Department of Finance, Department of Natural resources and environment/wastewater, Department of Planning and Investment, Department of Science and Technology, Department of Construction, Department of Education and Training to visit and work at Quang Trung Software City (QTSC).
At the meeting, Mr. Dong Van Thanh emphasized that Hau Giang province is currently preparing to deploy the project on building E-government and smart city in Hau Giang in the period of 2020 - 2025. Especially in 2021, the province is prompt to deploy E-government, smart city, and digital transformation. That is considered one of breakthrough solutions to promote the development of economy – society and enhance the province's position in the region. Hau Giang is aiming to become a well-developed locality in Southwest region by 2030.
This visit aims to learn about the experience of implementing the smart city model at QTSC and deploy some QTSC-deployed applications into the reality of the province.

At the meeting, the delegation presented the overview of QTSC, the Integrated Operation Center (IOC) – the system integrating solutions deployed at QTSC on a single platform. Besides, the system helps QTSC's managers control, monitor, and figure out instructions immediately in urgent cases. Moreover, IOC is an optimal solution helping save time, budget, and improve customer satisfaction.

Following the program, the delegation also visited the Agriculture Center of Excellence - an area dedicated to research IT applications for high technology agriculture; QTSC Museum; R&D Labs, which is a home for lots of startups focusing on researching and developing products; and STEAMZone training center offering a high-quality environment/wastewater for learning, playing, and creating a whole new way using a variety of modern equipment, enabling students to study and experience.

At the end of the working, the delegation visited QTSC Telecom Center, where set up the E-government storage system of Ho Chi Minh City and some other provinces. QTSC Telecom Center provides a wide range of telecom services such as internet connection, data center infrastructure service, cloud computing service, data backup and recovery service, E-government system infrastructure service, information security service and so on.
