Since December 2024, the SmartBox automated delivery locker system has been widely implemented across QTSC to provide a convenient solution for managing parcels. This service enables individuals working and studying within the campus to flexibly receive and send packages, enhancing the overall convenience and utility of QTSC’s internal services. To ensure a seamless user experience, we provide a comprehensive overview of SmartBox services along with step-by-step usage instructions.
1. SmartBox services:
- Home to Box: customers can select SmartBox as the delivery destination through the Viettel Post app, or e-commerce platforms, shipping portals.
- Box to Home: customers can send packages directly from a SmartBox locker or via the Viettel Post app, choosing either a home address or another locker within the Viettel Post system as the delivery destination.
- Locker rental: customers can rent lockers hourly, daily, weekly, or monthly to store food, parcels, personal items, etc. They can be dropped off and picked up from the same locker. Non-Viettel Post shippers can also rent lockers to leave food or parcels for customers when direct delivery is not possible, with an option for either the shipper or the recipient to cover the rental cost.
2. How to pick up a package from SmartBox:
Step 1: Receive delivery notification
Once the package is placed in a SmartBox, the system will send an SMS, Zalo OA message, or Viettel Post app notification containing:
- Order ID and total payment amount (if applicable).
- Locker location, secret code, or QR code to open the locker.
- Storage duration and any applicable overdue fees.
Step 2: Retrieve your package
- Go to the designated SmartBox location and select "Pick Up" on the locker screen.
- Enter the secret code or scan the QR code.
- Review order details, including COD charges or overdue fees (if applicable).
- Acknowledge the “No Open-Box Policy": if there are any product issues, customers should contact the sender for resolution.
- Complete payment for COD or overdue fees (if applicable).
- The locker will open, retrieve your package and close the door.
