Singaporean IT enterprises worked at QTSC

On 26th March 2018, Quang Trung Software City (QTSC) welcomed the Consulate General of the Republic of Singapore and IT enterprises to learn about the smart city model which has been implementing for QTSC.

Ms. Koh Chong Yu, Consul and Centre Director of Southeast Asia & Oceania Group, Consulate General of Singapore, said the visit aimed to share experiences on building smart city in the two countries.

At the meeting, Singaporean enterprises in turn showed their own strengths, typical products and solutions, which are mainly in transportation, aviation, shipping, health, new materials technology, mobile, robotic, artificial intelligence, etc. Through the visit, the enterprises hope to seek out new business opportunities, especially cooperation opportunities to develop IoT applications for smart city project in QTSC and HCMC.

Welcoming the delegation, CEO of QTSC Mr. Lam Nguyen Hai Long introduced the technology applications which greatly support in administration activities. QTSC is now focusing on developing the applications toward smart environment/wastewater, smart energy, smart traffic, smart building, smart administration, open data ecosystem and public security.

In conclusion, QTSC brought enterprises around the Agriculture Center of Excellence with the overview of Smart Agri application, farmbot technology and container gardening.
