Following the workshop on February 13rd, 2023, to collect opinions of foreign experts on the new management model of QTSC Chain, QTSC continued to cooperate with the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) and the Institute of Smart City and Management (ISCM) held a seminar to acknowledge the contributions of domestic experts.
The program was held at UEH on the morning of March 2nd, with the participation of:
- Nguyen Anh Tuan - Deputy Director General, Department of Information and Communication Technology Industry.
- Lam Nguyen Hai Long - CEO of QTSC, Standing member of QTSC Chain's Management Council.
- Le Quoc Cuong - Member of QTSC Chain's Management Council.
- Representatives of official members of the Chain (VNU-ITP, HueCIT).
- Prof. Dr. Phan Thi Bich Nguyet - Chairwoman of UEH Consulting Council, Director of UEH Institute of Innovation.
- Research team of UEH.
- Together with leaders of departments of potential and expected localities to join the Chain such as Department of Information and Communications of Ben Tre Province, Department of Information and Communications of Tien Giang Province, Business Association of Tien Giang Province, Mekong Innovation Technology Park, Army Software Park (Khanh Hoa province), Hau Giang Digital Technology Park.
At the seminar, the UEH representatives presented and analyzed the similarities between QTSC Chain and other international technology parks such as Software Technology Parks of India (STPI), Korea Technoparks, Korea Institute for Advancement of Technology, Korea Techno Parks Association. Thus, proposing feasible options for the new QTSC Chain management model.
Discussing at the seminar, Department of Information and Communication Technology Industry and Chain members had many exchanges to clarify the legal corridor, the interaction between apparatuses, components in the models being proposed, and the operating method in order that the Chain to operate more efficiently in the next period.
In addition, UEH also shared that in the next task, experts will study more ways and cooperation models that software parks can connect and share with each other, as well as propose criteria. The aim is to evaluate the performance of technology parks and software parks so that QTSC Chain is worthy of becoming a National Software Park Chain.
