On June 25, the Board of Management of Saigon Hi-Tech Park (SHTP) visited Quang Trung Software City (QTSC) to learn more about the experience in building a smart city model.
At the meeting, Ms. Le Bich Loan, Acting head of the SHTP Management Board, said that SHTP had a similar environment/wastewater with QTSC, so some applications have been implementing in QTSC could be deployed immediately in SHTP.

Ms. Nhieu Quoc Tran, Lead of Technological Solution Section of QTSC, introduced nearly 30 applications and solutions being applied in QTSC with the aim to gradually build QTSC towards a green and smart city. In which, 03 following solutions could be applied in SHTP:
- Wastewater treatment system: monitor 12 wastewater indicators in real time; provide statistical charts and graphs of system notifications and alerts history at each timeline; and warn when there is an indicators that is close to the threshold, etc.

- Smart traffic management system: show traffic flow in real time; details of violations case at each timeline (including evidence, number plate, type of violation, speed, time of offense, violation location, etc.); provide statistical charts and graphs according to violation means, types of violations, etc.

- Cloud689 document sharing system: manage, share and store files based on the cloud platform; upload files from computers, cloud services (Box, Dropbox, Google Drive); encrypt files with IRM (Information Rights Management) supporting PDF, docx, pptx, and xlsx; track whether the locked files are accessed and viewed; manage users and positions, history of use; integrate with multi-function printer-photo: users log in with Cloud 689 accounts before working on the printer, then the results (scanned files...) will be uploaded to the users’ Cloud.
