At the exhibition, the QTSC’s representative introduced to the PM and leaders about the Integrated Operation Centre (IOC) which uses Internet of Things (IoT) technologies to manage and monitor the park with the aim to improve service quality and support customers better.

Until now, QTSC has integrated 4 applications to QTSC IOC that further affirms Quang Trung Software City as a pioneer of smart city model in Vietnam. It is expected that more 8 applications will be integrated to the system in the first quarter of 2019.

Following the world’s digital and industrial revolution 4.0 trends, since 2016, QTSC has digitized entire information and data system on infrastructure (traffic, electricity, water, telecom, buildings, etc.) on GIS (Geographic Information System); launched the environment/wastewateral monitoring system to manage, monitor and warn air pollution, wastewater, groundwater and surface water, etc.; installed the Car Detector System and Face Search System to detect and warn lawbreakers, criminals; deployed Smart Public Lighting System to automatically manage, monitor and warn the operation of public lighting system; etc.

Based on these initial results, QTSC is striving to optimize existing solutions and develop new ones, gradually integrate data and apps on the same platform, and build open platforms for third-party customers. The application of the smart urban model at QTSC is a long term process and is one of the primary objectives that will turn QTSC into a leading software city in Asia.
