On November 14th, 2024, the second National Forum on Digital Economy and Digital Society Development, under the overarching theme “Innovative digital applications in industries and fields to develop the digital economy and improve labour productivity”, was organized by the Ministry of Information and Communications in collaboration with the Central Economic Commission and the Binh Duong Provincial People's Committee at the Binh Duong Convention & Exhibition Center. This annual event aims to bring together state management agencies, enterprises, and industry pioneers to discuss issues related to the development of digital economy and digital society in Vietnam.

This year’s forum attracted over 1,000 delegates, including experts, speakers and leaders from the Central Economic Commission, the Government, as well as various Ministries, sectors, and localities. The forum comprised one plenary session, three thematic seminars, and an exhibition showcasing technological applications for the development of digital economy and digital society across sectors such as manufacturing, e-commerce, banking, services, finance, safety, and cybersecurity. The forum aims to promote the creativity of Vietnamese digital applications, the use of artificial intelligence, and digital data to address the challenges of improving labor productivity and advancing Vietnam’s digital economy.
