In order to support Vietnamese IT/software services companies seeking the opportunity to access, connect, work directly with IT enterprises and potential partners in the United States, Quang Trung Software City (QTSC) in cooperation with VNITO Alliance organized the program “Information Networking Vietnam – US, 2018” from 11th to 17th June 2018 in Silicon Valley (California) and Austin (Texas). The Vietnam delegation included 13 Vietnamese IT companies, startups and representatives from IT associations such as VNITO, DSA.

In the opening of the program, on 11th June 2018, QTSC and Vietnamese start-ups visited and worked at the headquarters of Plug & Play Tech Center, one of the largest hubs for startups in the world, where incubates global technology corporations, for example: Google, Facebook, etc.

Following the program, the Vietnam delegation participated in the seminar on Software Outsourcing Development and the Vietnam IT Networking Day 2018 organized by Vietnam IT Development Group (VIDG) in Silicon Valley Global Innovation Center, San Jose, California, USA.

At the seminar, the Vietnam delegation and attendees had the opportunity to be shared about start-up activities in Silicon Valley, quality assurance and testing procedures for software outsourcing services as well as the vision and orientation of smart city model in San Jose and other cities around the world.

In the afternoon of the same day, Vietnam IT Networking Day 2018 was held with the participant of more than 50 guests from companies and investors in Silicon Valley. Ms. Denyse Cardozo, CEO of Silicon Valley Forum, said that during its 35 years of operation, the Silicon Valley Forum (SVF) has fostered innovation, entrepreneurship and leadership in Silicon Valley, facilitated connections and provided resources and information, covering everything from the latest tech trends to the global startup and investment ecosystem. SVF focuses on technology and startups in practice, support anyone who wants to run business in Silicon Valley, where creativity and innovation are crucial components of success.

During the program, Vietnamese companies also have the chance to introduce their business, capacity and strength, then join the networking dinner with partners.
