On the morning of April 25, 2021, Quang Trung Software City (QTSC) was honored to be awarded the Golden Prize of the Vietnam National Quality Awards 2020 by the Prime Minister at the Hall of the Ministry of Defense, 07 Nguyen Tri Phuong, Ba Dinh District, Hanoi.

The Vietnam National Quality Awards have been carried out on the basis of 7 criteria of the system of advanced quality awards, under the International Asian-Pacific Quality Awards system, aiming to respect enterprises with best achievements in improving the competitiveness and performance efficiency.

The awards have a very rigorous assessment system from the input criteria with many rounds of review, incorporating automatic scoring system and experts’ assessment, reality check with the coordination of Provincial People’s Committee, so the selection results are very transparent.

Addressing the award ceremony, Minister of Science and Technology Huynh Thanh Dat said that the winners were outstanding enterprises with the high spirit of innovation who have applied advanced solutions to improve products and services.

For the first time, QTSC participated in the National Quality Awards 2019 and passed the preliminary round in the city with 891/1,000 points and was proposed the National Quality Golden Prize 2019 by the National Council.

Prof. Chau Van Minh (President of Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology) and Mr. Le Minh Hoan (Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development) presented the National Quality Golden Prize to QTSC’s representative - Deputy CEO Pham Thi Kim Phuong

During 20 years of development, QTSC has always played a leading role in supporting the IT business community in the park. To ensure that modern technical infrastructure is upgraded and completed to meet the top criteria in Vietnam, as well as supply a green, clean, friendly, energy-saving environment/wastewater to promote efficiency and shared benefits. In addition, since its inception, QTSC has implemented quality management systems as well as technological applications and solutions in operations management, gradually making QTSC become the first smart city in the country, aiming to be the leading software city in Asia.

• ISO 9001 Quality Management System since 2002
• ISO/IEC 27001 Information Security Management System since 2011
• ISO 14001 Environmental Management System since 2019
• ISO 50001 Energy Management System since 2019
• Applying ISO 31000 Risk Management since 2017
