On the morning of March 31^st, 2021, Hau Giang Information and Communications Department cooperated with Ho Chi Minh City Information and Communications Department and QTSC to hold a seminar entitled “Digital transformation: Sharing and Connecting” at Hau Giang Community College. It was the first time this seminar had been organized in Hau Giang province to offer a holistic view of digital transformation issues to serve the orientation of building smart city and e-government in Hau Giang province.

The seminar featured Hau Giang’s senior leaders, including Mr. Tran Van Huyen - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Hau Giang Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Hau Giang People’s Council; Ms. Ho Thu Anh – Vice Chairwoman of Hau Giang People’s Committee, together with more than 200 delegates from departments, branches, agencies, localities, and enterprises in the province.

At the seminar, Mr. Vo Minh Thanh – Head of IT Department of Ho Chi Minh City Information and Communications Department delivering his speech on digital transformation activities and infrastructure for digital transformation in Ho Chi Minh City. Then, Mr. Lam Nguyen Hai Long – CEO of QTSC and Mr. Tran Hoang Nam – Head of QTSC Telecom Center, respectively presented the progress of formation and development of Quang Trung Software City; information security solutions for digital transformation; digitalization, e-document storage solutions for digital transformation.

Mr. Long shared: Digital transformation is an irreversible trend. Therefore, in the following new phase, with internal strength, existing advantages, and brand spread, QTSC is ready to share its experience, valuable lessons and spread the spirit to other localities, actively promoting digital transformation faster and more robust. Effectively take advantage of the opportunities from the industrial revolution 4.0 to enhance the resilience and position of each locality. In the new integration trend, whichever locality goes fast and far away will accelerate quickly in socio-economic development and international integration.

Representatives from Lac Viet, HPT, and DIGI-TEXX Vietnam shared experience in implementing digital transformation solutions in education and health, digitalizing and storing electronic documents, information security solutions for digital transformation, etc.

At the seminar, Ms. Ho Thu Anh – Vice Chairwoman of Hau Giang People’s Committee, emphasized digital transformation has become a common trend in the current development. Localities must promote applying IT into various fields, especially digital transformation, to make breakthroughs. This seminar was the premise of helping departments, agencies, branches, and localities shape the basic foundation of digital transformation implementation. Ms. Anh expected that QTSC would further support Hau Giang in digital transformation in particular and IT applications in general shortly.
