Periodically, Quang Trung Software City (QTSC) Chain held a meeting to summarize activities in the second quarter of the year at Department of Information and Communications of Binh Dinh Province on July 1, 2022.
Attending the meeting were Ms. To Thi Thu Huong - Deputy Director General, in charge of the IT Department of the Ministry of Information and Communications, representatives of three official members (QTSC, ITP, HueCIT) and leaders of the following units: VNPT Tien Giang, Tien Giang Department of Information and Communications, Binh Dinh Department of Information and Communications, Can Tho University Software Center, Army Software Park, Ben Tre Department of Information and Communications, University of Economics HCMC and TMA Solutions.
At the beginning of the meeting, QTSC’s representative presented a summary of Chain's activities in the first 6 months of 2022 and expected plans for the last 6 months. As the result, QTSC Chain Management Council issued Chain’s activities plan for the period of 2021 – 2023; QTSC has received the certificate of performing science and technology task “Documents guiding the deployment and management of centralized IT zones”; creating a complete Chain’s brand identity system, registering for protection of intellectual property rights, launching Chain’s new logo and transferring it to official members for use.
QTSC’s representative presented a summary of Chain's activities in the first 6 months of 2022 and plans for the last 6 months.
As expected, QTSC Chain’s activity plans for the last 6 months of the year include: coordinating with the Ministry of Information and Communications to finalize Chain’s legal documents and research new operational model; developing Chain’s members by admitting new ones; implementing activities to review and support Chain’s members to fully meet operational requirements in accordance with the Chain's organizational and operating regulations; implementing a number of activities on promoting, attracting domestic and foreign investment for Chain’s members; and developing Chain’s brand identity system.

Mr. Lam Nguyen Hai Long, QTSC CEO, Standing Member of QTSC Chain Management Council spoke at the meeting.
Continuing the program, Chain’s three official members shared their activity results in the first 6 months and expected plans in the last 6 months, as well as discussing on admitting more potential members to join the Chain such as Binh Dinh, Hau Giang, Tien Giang, etc.
In order to propose a new operational model for the Chain, QTSC is currently collaborating with a group of experts to exchange and study the appropriate model in countries around the world. At this meeting, experts from the Institute of Smart City and Management (ISCM) presented a draft of Chain’s new model for discussing and collecting ideas.
In the afternoon of the same day, the delegation also came to survey Quang Trung Software City Binh Dinh project and visited TMA Solutions, Fsoft Quy Nhon which is operating here.
