On March 15th, 2024, HoChiMinh City Computer Association (HCA) solemnly organized the Congress of delegates of the 8th term (2024 - 2029).
As the result, the Congress agreed to elect the Executive Committee of HCA of the 8th term (2024 - 2029) with 27 members who represent for more than 460 enterprises, with enough qualities and qualifications according to the criterias to carry out the important tasks assigned by the Congress, including 9 members of the Standing Committee. In addition, the Congress also elected an Inspection Commission with 3 members.
With the trust election from the Executive Committee of HCA and large of members, Mr. Tran Huu Dung, CEO of QTSC, was elected to the Executive Committee of HCA of the 8th term (2024 - 2029) with the position of Member of the Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of HCA.
With this great honor, whether as an individual or the representative of QTSC, Mr. Tran Huu Dung has proposed plans and action programs to contribute to the sustainable development of HCA, specifically as follows:
- “As an individual, I will actively contribute ideas to help HCA grow stronger and the activities develop following common technology trends in the world. With my experience in information security and issues related to the digital space, I will companion with HCA to develop the technology business community as well as coordinating and give comments to the authorities for building correct, timely decisions that coincide with the realities of development trends in the world. I will also support in connecting, exchanging, and discussing about new technologies, solutions to promote the digital transformation process of Ho Chi Minh City in particular, and localities in general as well as joining in holding and attending in trade and technology promotion activities in other provinces and cities.
- As a business representative: I actively support, introduce, and promote the participation of businesses in the HCA’s activities. I will companion with HCA in promoting activities for Ho Chi Minh City IT businesses in provinces across the country to expand markets and build the cooperative relationships between businesses. Depending on particular activity, I will contribute human resources to HCA's activities, trade and connection events during my term."
