QTSC and Ennoconn sign strategic partnership to develop smart green cities toward Net Zero goals

On March 20, 2025, as part of a trade promotion delegation attending the 2025 Smart City Summit & Expo x 2050 Net Zero City Expo in Taipei, Taiwan, Quang Trung Software City Development Company Limited (QTSC) and Ennoconn Corporation officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement. This partnership aims to build a model for smart, green cities, leveraging cutting-edge technology to optimize energy management, reduce emissions, and work toward achieving Net Zero targets.

Strategic collaboration for sustainable smart cities

Combining Ennoconn’s technological expertise with QTSC’s comprehensive digital ecosystem, the two parties will jointly implement a series of advanced solutions in key areas. This collaboration lays the foundation for the development of smart cities and industrial parks in Vietnam. The model not only enhances operational efficiency but also reduces environmental impact, ensuring long-term sustainability.

The cooperation will focus on the following high-level technological areas:

  • Smart energy management and optimization

- Utilizing Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the Internet of Things (IoT) to monitor, analyze, and optimize systems such as electricity, water, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), etc. thereby reducing energy consumption.

- Implementing Smart Grid solutions to support the transition to renewable energy, integrating storage systems and load-balancing technologies.

- Real-time energy consumption monitoring and optimization to reduce CO₂ emissions, contributing to the Net Zero 2050 goals.

  • Development of smart campuses and buildings

- Deploying smart management systems that automatically adjust lighting, HVAC, elevators, etc., based on actual usage to minimize energy waste.

- Installing IoT sensors to monitor and optimize the usage of electricity, water, and gas across entire campuses.

  • Smart industrial parks and comprehensive digital transformation

- Building connected environmental monitoring systems to track air quality, water quality, noise levels, emissions, etc. ensuring sustainable development standards.

- Implementing smart building management systems (BMS) to improve energy efficiency and operational performance.

- Applying Geographic Information System (GIS) technology to optimize planning and resource management within industrial parks.

  • Smart surveillance for security and operational efficiency

- Deploying AI-powered facial recognition and smart access control systems to enhance safety and personnel management.

- Integrating AI video analytics to detect anomalies automatically, improving monitoring efficiency and resource savings.

  • Smart manufacturing for greener industrial capacity

- Leveraging AI and IoT to monitor and optimize production lines in real-time, reducing material waste.

- Applying 3D printing and robotic automation to enhance productivity and minimize environmental impact.

  • Smart healthcare and sustainable medical services

- Providing smart healthcare platforms that enable remote patient management and streamline medical processes.

- Integrating AI to support diagnostics and treatment recommendations using Big Data.

Advancing toward Net Zero and a sustainable future

The partnership between QTSC and Ennoconn represents a significant step toward comprehensive digital transformation and sustainable urban development, in alignment with Vietnam’s Net Zero 2050 strategy. The adoption of advanced technologies will help optimize energy use, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and improve quality of life in smart cities.

This agreement marks a major milestone in the pursuit of modern, eco-friendly smart cities. It sets the stage for expanding the model to other regions, contributing to the sustainable development of Ho Chi Minh City and Vietnam as a whole.
