Welcome speech from Ms. Pham Thi Kim Phuong, Deputy CEO of QTSC
At the seminar, experts shared a wealth of information about recruitment trends for 2024 as well as the current situation of the IT workforce. According to Ms. Nguyen Ngoc Anh Thu, Associate Director, Brand & Creative, Marketing of TopCV Vietnam, in 2023, the demand for recruiting human resource in the IT industry remained significant, with the IT - software sector being one of the top three talent-thirsty sectors. Likewise, Mr. Thai Hoang Danh, Chief Delivery Officer at LARION, also noted that the average number of IT graduates per year is about 16,000, but almost them need to undergo retraining for at least 3-6 months to meet the demands of enterprises. Therefore, it is concluded that the IT labor market in 2023 and 2024 is still a bright spot amid the current economic challenges.
In addition to sharing industry trends, the seminar provided practical information on topics such as real-world experience for fresher tester, developer capability framework to get ready for AI… presented by experienced speakers in the technology field and human resource management from Voyager, Agest Vietnam, Dev Plus, and Vexere. The knowledge accumulated at the seminar serves as a tool for students to meet job demands after graduation and integrate into the business environment quickly and effectively.
