On the morning of May 7, 2024, Temasek Polytechnic, Singapore organized a study visit for over 100 students specializing in engineering, design, informatics and information technology to learn about QTSC.
As a leading institution of higher learning, renowned for its brand in Singapore, Temasek Polytechnic offers over 40 full-time courses and regularly organizes field trips both domestically and internationally for its students.
During this visit to Ho Chi Minh City, the polytechnic aimed to provide second-year students with the opportunity to explore real-world technology-related companies, with a highlight being the operational model of QTSC - the first and largest concentrated IT park in Vietnam - housing over 150 enterprises offering 650 products, services, and solutions across diverse sectors.
Through the program, students had the chance to learn more about technology products and solutions, as well as the operations of IT enterprises. This experience aimed to enhance students' understanding of various useful knowledge applicable to their respective fields of study. Additionally, the polytechnic expressed interest in facilitating internship opportunities for students in technology companies operating here.
Alongside general introductions to QTSC, students were guided to visit the QTSC Museum, showcasing artifacts and images documenting the park's development over the past 20 years. The museum serves as a blend of historical exploration and technology introduction, featuring products and solutions being researched and developed by companies within QTSC.
Furthermore, the student received a presentation from A&A Solutions company on several high-application technology solutions in life and production such as the technology allows identifying the level of methanol in wine, fake wines, and a wide swath of vegetation in lack of water based on Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI), mushroom container farm, smart greenhouse, smart hydroponic... The presentation garnered keen interest and enthusiastic participation from the students.
