In the afternoon of April 02, the Lord Mayor of the City of Frankfurt am Main, Mr. Peter Feldmann had a visit to Quang Trung Software City (QTSC).
Deputy CEO of QTSC Ms. Pham Thi Kim Phuong was very pleased to welcome the delegation and believed that the meeting would bring many more cooperation and investment opportunities for the two sides.
Peter Feldmann showed that Frankfurt is the data and information security center of Germany. The city has IPv6 gateway and data transmission speed of up to 2000-3000 GB, which is higher than in Silicon Valley, US. Also, Frankfurt has strengths in finance, education, hi-tech, as well as has attracted many leading IT companies operating here. In particular, the city is the headquarters of the European central bank and plenty of large banks such as Deutsche Bank, Dresdner Bank and Commerzbank. Frankfurt is also known as a city of trade fairs, an important intersection point of Germany and Europe.
Through this visit, the delegation wanted to seek business cooperation opportunities with enterprises operating in QTSC in the fields of science and technology, applied science and new technology research.

Ms. Phuong was impressed with the development of Frankfurt city and said that Ho Chi Minh City is one of the biggest and most dynamic cities in Vietnam, so its development processes are similar to Frankfurt city. In which, QTSC is an IT development hub of the city, therefore it has had much experience in technology cooperation and transfer with foreign companies and corporations.
As of present, QTSC has attracted around 160 enterprises with more than 50 foreign ones. Among them, there were quite a number of German enterprises operating successfully here. This was a good signal for inviting German investors, as well as foreign investors to operate in QTSC, Phuong emphasized.

At the end of the meeting, the delegation visited DIGI-TEXX VIETNAM, a 100% German-invested Company with more than 1,200 employees, operating in HCM City (QTSC) and Can Tho province.
