In the afternoon of November 11, the Leaders in Industry-University Cooperation (LINC) visited and worked at Quang Trung Software City (QTSC).
The LINC project aims to create a win-win relationship between universities and local industries by creating and expanding a variety of industry-university cooperation models through the expansion of support, the diversification and specialization of industry-university cooperation, and the increase in substantiality of business and academic cooperation.
According to Kim Sang Kyo, President of LINC, the purpose of site visit to QTSC and enterprises, schools operating here was to learn more about cooperation opportunities in training, attracting international students to study in LINC’s universities, colleges.
CEO of QTSC Lam Nguyen Hai Long said that the majors of universities and colleges in LINC such as information technology, industrial engineering, high technology were suitable with the needs of Vietnamese IT businesses. Long also suggested that the LINC should have a representative office in Ho Chi Minh City to be as a bridge between Vietnam and Korea so as to help the two sides easily exchange, meet and seek partners.

After the meeting at QTSC, the delegation came to visit the Campus Quang Trung 2 of Hoa Sen University located in the park. This is a multidisciplinary and multi-field training school and is one of the leading universities in the system of non-public universities in Vietnam. Up to now, the school has trained more than 20,000 students, and more 8,000 students attend each year.
At the end of the program, they visited TMA Solutions, the leading Vietnam software outsourcing company, with more than 2,400 engineers, clients from 27 countries, offices around the world such as Japan, Singapore, Australia, US, etc.
