In the morning of 25th May 2018, a Korean business delegation has visited Quang Trung Software City (QTSC) aiming to learn about cooperation opportunities.

These Korean enterprises are members of a business promotion project in Vietnam, which was started by the Ministry of Medium and Small Enterprise of Korea. The project purposed to push on transferring and applying new technologies of Korea for smart city, smart traffic, power, environment/wastewater, etc, as well as support Korean enterprises to establish their legal representative in Vietnam.

Meeting at QTSC, the delegation listened to a brief introduction of QTSC model, as well as its preferential policies and supports for enterprises operating in the park, especially foreign ones and start-ups. Following that, Korean enterprises had an overview of incentives of the two countries, and gave some useful methods for QTSC in supporting start-ups.

Then, they visited the Agriculture Center of Excellence specializing in greenhouse and container farming processes. QTSC coordinated with partners to implement the center at lot 13, QTSC in June 2017. Currently, they are also carrying out research about the application of agricultural fertilizer mixers provided by Korean partners.

At the end of the meeting, the delegation visited TMA Solutions, a leading Vietnam software outsourcing company with its offices in Japan, Australia and US.
