In the morning of July 18, the Global Commercialization Center of Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST GCC) had a meeting at Quang Trung Software City (QTSC).
Welcoming the delegation were Deputy CEO of QTSC Pham Thi Kim Phuong and departments’ representatives with a brief introduction of its activities, fields being called for cooperation as well as smart city model has been implementing in QTSC.
Leading the delegation, Ph.D. Mun-Kee Choi, Director of KAIST GCC (Former Minister of the Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning of Korea) said the meeting aimed to exchange and discuss about cooperation opportunities, especially in IT sector, green power, smart city, smart agriculture and so on. Further, they would like to meet businesses in QTSC through the activities of technology transfer, cooperation projects or product localization of the two countries.
KAIST GCC worked at QTSC
At the end of the meeting, KAIST GCC moved to visit Agriculture Excellence of Center located at lot 13, QTSC. This is an area dedicated to research and apply new technologies in agriculture such as IoT, traditional and aquaculture planting in greenhouse, container gardening and farmbot. Especially, there has been a technology transfer project of Vietnamese and Korean companies. Following that, Korean company has been providing machinery and equipment, while Vietnamese one has been implementing researches and applications on planting in greenhouse with some initial positive results.
