On January 30th 2018, Quang Trung Software City (QTSC), SaigonTech and VNITO Alliance welcomed the Chancellor Dr. Cesar Maldonado and Vice Chancellor Dr. Kurt Ewen of Houston Community College, Texas, US (HCC) to visit QTSC. This visit will help to boost more cooperations in the coming time.

At the meeting, CEO of QTSC Lam Nguyen Hai Long briefly shared the information of projects which have been implementing by QTSC and SaigonTech such as ISC Quang Trung for short-term IT training courses, Agriculture Center of Excellence, R&D Labs, and annually events aiming to promote IT industry, such as: Youth Computer Competition HCMC, IT BootCamp, Srobot, and so on. In 2nd quarter of 2018, QTSC and VNITO Alliance will organize a Vietnam IT delegation to the United States to promote business opportunities, and hopefully together with HCC hold a workshop on technology innovations in Houston.

Dr. Cesa Maldonado said it was the second time to visit QTSC and he was impressed by QTSC’s great development in recent years, especially its technology solutions being deployed to turn QTSC into a green, smart city model. He also believed that in the future, QTSC, HCC, VNITO Alliance and SaigonTech will cooperate strongly by developing human and technology elements together as well as create a good connection for long-term collaboration in the future.
