On April 7, 2021, a delegation of musicians from Ho Chi Minh City Musicians' Association visited Quang Trung Software City (QTSC).

During the visit, they heard about the introduction of ongoing applications to build QTSC into the first green and smart city model in the country.

Welcoming the delegation, Mr. Vu Quang - Deputy CEO of QTSC said: “There are about 40 IT applications being implemented to manage the whole park, such as operation management system (OMS); management systems of technology infrastructure, trees, buildings; smart electrical system; security monitoring camera system; water and wastewater quality monitoring system; air quality monitoring system; guards management system; call center, etc. have helped QTSC's management activities become faster, more efficient and transparent in full-time (24/7). Labor productivity increased approximately 3 times compared to the previous manual method. Data is fully stored and exploited at any time. Thus, contributing significantly to QTSC's digital transformation program, and creating the difference between QTSC and industrial parks, export processing zones as well as firms in Ho Chi Minh City and other provinces.”

Following the program, the delegation visited QTSC Museum - a place to keep the historical marks of QTSC during the past 20 years; STEAMZone center - a training space in science, technology, engineering, art, mathematics for children from 4 to 18 years old; QTSC Environmental Monitoring Station to keep track of the quality of water, wastewater, and internal air. Finally, the delegation visited EduNet company operating in R&D Labs - one of the software products R&D areas for typical startups in QTSC.

After the site visit, musician Nguyen Van Hien, representative of Ho Chi Minh City Musicians’ Association shared: “Today the association visits Quang Trung Software City to help the musicians understand more about those who are working in the field of software technology. Through the visit, we are very excited and enthusiastic to write songs. If possible, in a few months, we will come back with the songs about QTSC to send to you. Especially with the reality visit today, we can also put our feelings into melodies and lyrics as an encouragement for the people working in science and technology fields."
