Next, the delegation visited R&D Labs, STEAMZONE Training Center and Agriculture Center of Excellence. At STEAMZONE, the delegation listened to an introduction about STEM educational models that are increasingly popular and bring positive outcomes. Including knowledge blocks (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), these methods help students to form and develop 4C skills: creativity, critical thinking, collaboration and communication through creative STEM activities.

Visiting 5D Company at R&D Labs, Dr. Nguyen Dinh Uyen introduced Hyperspectral Imaging technology to spot fake wine. It is a combination of spectroscopic imaging technology and image processing to identify the difference in concentration of methanol in alcohol solution. Using the normalized difference vegetation index (NDVI) that is determined by the spectral imaging to automatically detect vegetation changes (lack of water in plants) before the farmers can recognize.
