On the morning of November 27, 2020, more than 150 junior IT students of HCMC Industry and Trade College had a site visit to Quang Trung Software City (QTSC) to experience the practical working environment/wastewater at local enterprises.

Visiting QTSC, the students were introduced the formation and development process of QTSC, as well as useful career orientations for IT students.

Following the program, they visited a practical classroom and robot programming room at ISC-Quang Trung training center. Also, the students were shared about feelings while studying here by the center’s students.

“IT industry is currently a hot industry for job opportunities, but it is in serious shortage of human resources,” said Mr. Dinh Thanh Son - Deputy Director of ISC-Quang Trung. “Each year only 30% of IT graduates can work immediately, the remaining 70% need retraining, therefore, this is both job opportunity but also challenge for IT students. The IT industry is an industry that needs constant learning, practical experience and the ability to solve technical problems. If you do not study, explore and improve knowledge, you will quickly be eliminated."

At the end of the program, the students moved to visit QTSC Incubator, especially learned about the activities of 4Biz - a Fintech startup.
