On the afternoon of December 15th, Mr. Pham Van Tuan, Member of the City Party Committee, Director of the Department of Information and Communications (D.I.C.) of Hai Phong City, led a delegation to visit and work at the Quality Tech Solution Complex (QTSC).
Welcoming the delegation were Ms. Vo Thi Trung Trinh, Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City D.I.C., representatives of leaders of QTSC and Ho Chi Minh City Computer Association (H.C.A.). The delegation included representatives from various departments, sectors, and localities of Hai Phong City.
The purpose of this working visit was to learn and exchange experiences in implementing digital transformation, developing the digital data strategy of Hai Phong City, assessing digital transformation projects, and specialized digital transformation activities.
During the program at QTSC, delegates were introduced to some of digital transformation results in 2023 in Ho Chi Minh City. As the provider of cloud computing infrastructure and information security services for the city's digital transformation systems, QTSC’s representative also highlighted key features, including:
- The QTSC-IDC data center is built in accordance with international standards TIA942 at level III.
- The network infrastructure uses advanced technology (MPLS/VPN, SDN), large processing capacity, and redundancy network system. International and domestic Internet gateways ensure continuous, broadband and high access speeds.
- Cloud computing infrastructure using VMWare’s virtualized technology, availability (99.99%), high stability and safety.
- Information security systems are full of components that protect the application system in layered and in-depth ways.
- The backup data center to enhance data safety, improve system readiness, and minimize service interruption time.
- Data center operations are managed for quality and information security according to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 27001.
In addition to sharing experiences in building data management strategies, guiding and performing the functions of ICT project assessment in Ho Chi Minh City, the delegation raised several issues regarding digital transformation experiences in specialized fields such as environmental resources, transportation, construction, residence management, healthcare, and so on.
Before concluding the program, the delegation was guided to visit the operational environment at the Ho Chi Minh City Information Security Service JSC (HISSC), and learn about some digital transformation applications at QTSC Integrated Operation Center (IOC).
