Due to the complicated and unpredictable development of the Covid-19 pandemic in Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC), the Decision No. 2337/UBND-TH on suspension of operation of enterprises in the city that fail to meet Covid-19 pandemic prevention and control requirements was issued by the People's Committee of HCMC on July 13, 2021.
To effectively implement the "dual goals" - both pandemic prevention and control, and economy promotion and development, in which the goal of ensuring the people's health is foremost; an enterprise located in the city may continue its production activities if meeting one of following conditions: the enterprise may conduct the production and quarantine its employees on spot with the “three on spot” motto: on-spot production, meal and rest; the enterprise ensures the “one route - two destinations” motto: only one way of concentrated transport of workers from the place of production to their place of residence.
Facing with this urgent situation, businesses at Quang Trung Software City (QTSC) have urgently prepared a "three on spot" option for about 819 people from 48 IT and business service companies (security, cleaning, catering, etc.).
Furthermore, in order to help businesses to feel secure in production, QTSC has arranged 24 specialized personnel on telecommunications, electricity, water, building management, etc. to ensure smooth internal management activities and support businesses timely. All of these employees tested negative for Covid-19 on the morning of July 15, 2021.
Mr. Lam Nguyen Hai Long - CEO of QTSC said: “Businesses that are arranging to work during this period account for about 6% of regular employees working at the park in normal working conditions. Although the "three on spot" organization was set up in haste, QTSC has basically completed its support for enterprises to continue production activities. In particular, QTSC has arranged staff at QTSC's Telecom Center to ensure uninterrupted services such as telecommunications infrastructure system - data center, information security system and e-government infrastructure system of the city”.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Diep, Chief Operating Officer, DIGI-TEXX Co., Ltd. said: “As an enterprise providing diverse services to large customers in Europe and the US with a lot of highly confidential projects, we cannot work from home 100%. Therefore, when “three on spot” principle was announced, the highest level of Business Continuity Plan was activated. All relevant departments worked hard to complete the setup for nearly 100 employees within a single day. We have fully equipped with facilities from personal tents to mattresses, blankets, pillows, and other necessities of life, so that the "soldiers" can have the most peace of mind when eating-sleeping-working at the company. Additionally, the care of physical and mental health is also ensured with nutrition meals, fruits, daily exercises, and so on.”
During this difficult period, QTSC is looking forward to receiving the sympathy of local businesses. If your business needs any support, please contact us via Alo QTSC app or QTSC's Customer Service Department by hotline: (84) 8888 77 606 / 622 (Ms. Hanh / Ms. Thao), email: qtsc@qtsc.com.vn.
