In the afternoon of November 1, a delegation of Cuban journalists led by Ms. Anamaris Solorzano Chacón, Director of Media Organization Department of Cuban Ministry of Communications and leaders of some major Cuban press agencies had a visit to learn about the successful model of Quang Trung Software City. Welcoming the delegation were Ms. Pham Thi Kim Phuong - Deputy CEO of QTSC and representatives of Ministry of Information and Communications of Vietnam.

Ms. Nguyen Kim Phuong - Manager of Strategy and Marketing Department of QTSC introduced the delegation about the process of establishment and development of QTSC, its contributions to the development of IT industry in Ho Chi Minh City and Vietnam, as well as QTSC’s positioning on the IT map in Asia area.

After listening to QTSC's introduction, Mr. Yurisander Guevara Zaila - Deputy Editor-in-chief of Cuban Youth Newspaper raised the question: How can QTSC preserve and develop the park more and more successful? According to Ms. Pham Thi Kim Phuong, QTSC has achieved success and maintained until today depends on factors such as:

• The high determination of leaders of Ho Chi Minh City and QTSC from the beginning. Also, the city has been many incentive policies to invite and attract investment in QTSC.
• QTSC development and management board are young, dynamic, eager to learn and willing to engage, try new things
• Large companies and corporations in the world and Vietnam invested in QTSC have created global effects and spread, helping QTSC to develop more sustainable.

At the end of the program, the delegation visited the Integrated Operation Center of Quang Trung Software City (QTSC IOC), QTSC R&D Labs, and Agriculture Center of Excellence.
