On the afternoon of July 4th, 2023, the British Chamber of Commerce Vietnam (BritCham), represented by Mr. Matt Ryland – Executive Director, had a meeting at the Quality Tech Solution Complex (QTSC).
The visit aimed to seek opportunities for collaboration and connections with QTSC and IT businesses in the technology and innovation sectors.
Welcoming the delegation was Mr. Tran Huu Dung – Chairman of QTSC, Mr. Phan Phuong Tung – Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Digital Transformation Consulting and Support Center (DXCenter) – a science-technology center under QTSC.
At the beginning of the meeting, the delegation had a brief introduction to QTSC such as its mission and vision statement, favorable investment incentives, benchmarking QTSC with other software parks in ASEAN and Asia, as well as its development orientation, etc. Founded in 2001, QTSC has now attracted 142 ICT companies including 6 large-sized companies with over 1,000 employees. More than 650 IT products, services and solutions have been deployed and gone to market. With great efforts and contributions, QTSC has truly become a tech hub for more than 21,000 people studying and working regularly.
Until now, QTSC has been the first and largest software park in Vietnam, operating on a total area of 43 hectares, with complete technical infrastructure, reliable telecommunications infrastructure, ecosystem of IT businesses serving a variety of fields, along with supporting services and amenities. The representative of BritCham was very impressed with the organizational model and working environment at QTSC.

At the meeting, QTSC’s representative shared more about its support in the field trips of British students in recent years. Lately, QTSC has accompanied with BESS Vietnam 2023, an educational technology exhibition, organized by the British Educational Suppliers Association (BESA), on the theme “Education 4.0 to Industry 4.0”.

In addition, the BritCham delegation visited to learn about the products, solutions being researched and developed at two technology startups (Alta Software, EduNet) at QTSC R&D Labs 1. Also, they visited TMA Solutions - one of the six large-sized companies operating at QTSC. With 25 years of experience in developing and implementing software solutions for customers in 30 countries around the world, TMA Solutions has accumulated many more advanced technologies and a variety of solutions for many fields.
