On the morning of May 5, Army Software Park (ASP) delegation visited and worked at Telecom Center of Quang Trung Software City (QTSC) and Ho Chi Minh City Digital Transformation Consulting and Support Center (DXCenter) belongs to QTSC.

Leading the delegation were Mr. Tran Van Thuan, Director of ASP, Mr. Lu Vincent The Hung, Director of ASP’s Digital Transformation and Technology Application Center. Welcoming the delegation were Mr. Tran Hoang Nam, Director of QTSC Telecom Center, Mr. Phan Phuong Tung, Director of DXCenter.

The delegation representative said that the purpose of the working visit was to learn about the operating model of QTSC’s data center, as well as discuss to look for potential cooperation opportunities with DXCenter in the coming time.

QTSC's data center is built in accordance with international standards TIA942 at level III; The network system uses advanced technologies (MPLS/VPN, SDN) with high processing capacity and Internet gateway to ensure domestic and international Internet transmission capacity with broadband and high access speed; Cloud computing infrastructure using VMWare virtualization technology with high availability to 99.99%, high stability and security; The information security system has a full range of components for application system protection, multi-layer and in-depth defense; Redundant data centers further secure data, improve availability, and reduce service downtime for application systems.

With the plan to build up a data center operating at ASP, the delegation was very interested in the operating model and management system of QTSC’s data center and desired to have the cooperation opportunities in training human resources to manage the data center.

Established in October 2021, Ho Chi Minh City Digital Transformation Consulting and Support Center (DXCenter) is a science and technology center under QTSC. DXCenter, an official unit of Ho Chi Minh City, performing a digital transformation mission, contributes to the completion and development of the digital transformation ecosystem in Vietnam, especially in Ho Chi Minh City and the Southern Key Economic Zone. Through the introduction of DXCenter’s Director Mr. Phan Phuong Tung, the delegation was very interested in its operating model and services. This is also the activity model that ASP’s Digital Transformation and Technology Application Center is aiming for. Following that, the delegation hopes to cooperate with DXCenter in the digital transformation activities and events that will be held in the near future in Nha Trang, Khanh Hoa Province.
