In order to survey the actual status quo and work on the proposal to participate in the QTSC Chain of Army Software Park (ASP), QTSC Chain Management Council had a business trip to ASP in Nha Trang city, Khanh Hoa province on May 4^th, 2023.

Attending the meeting, on the side of the delegation, there was Mr. Lam Nguyen Hai Long, Standing member of Chain Management Council, CEO of QTSC. On the ASP side, there were Mr. Tran Van Thuan, Director of ASP, and other members.

As an unprecedented model in Vietnam, the QTSC Chain was approved by the Prime Minister to be piloted in March 2016, with the orientation of creating a breakthrough in software industry and innovative start-ups development to promote existing roles and brands of members. Up to now, there have been 4 official members in QTSC Chain: QTSC, Information Technology Park (ITP), Thua Thien Hue Center of Information Technology (HueCIT), Information and Communication Technology Center of Binh Dinh Province (ICTBD).

Besides, the Chain also attracts expected and potential members such as: Hau Giang Digital Technology Park, Mekong Innovation Technology Park, Ben Tre Innotech Project, Can Tho University Software Center, Army Software Park (ASP)…

Established in March 2015, with a total area of ​​35,000 m² including 3 buildings 1A, 1B and 1C (building 1B has been completed and entered into operation from 2020), ASP has functions and tasks:

• Training IT and foreign language.
• Researching and developing IT, Electronics and Telecommunications products to meet the needs of national defense, security, people's livelihood, industrialization and modernization. Training and consulting about digital transformation in various fields.
• Developing cooperation with enterprises, organizations, institutes, universities, domestic and foreign educational and training units for researching, developing and training high quality human resources.

Working at ASP, the delegation was guided to visit and survey the actual status quo of facilities, listened to reports on performance results and orientation of developing in the near future… Besides, the participants discussed issues related to ASP's functions and tasks, activities to promote digital transformation for security, defense, training cooperation…
