In the future, IT zones’ development based on chain model will be the necessary orientation for the growth of Vietnam in particular and of the world in general. According to the research conducted by MIC, the occupancy rate of five IT zones in Vietnam reaching 95 per cent was higher than the average of the industrial areas as 53 per cent. Additionally, the average total turnover for all IT zones was 10 million USD per hectare, while only 200 million VND was recorded in the industrial zones. Regarding that, MIC has been implementing investment incentive to provinces to focus on technology areas. To promote strengths, in the short term, local authorities should build up a technology area based on their current advantages. Notably, HueCIT has developed travel, culture technology applications and Mekong ITP for BPO, smart agriculture, and so on.

Finally, QTSC Chain’s members such as HueCIT, ITP, QTSC and Mekong ITP summarized the second quarter activities of 2020 and set out plans for the coming time.
