QTSC launched the bike share model: Since June 2017, QTSC has official launched the automatic bike management system known as "bike share". This is a flexible type of public transport service that operates in a self-service manner. The users will use their customer cards (provided by QTSC) to pick up the bikes and then return the vehicles at many stations placed in the park. The system is an environment/wastewaterally friendly form of transport, easy to use and convinient for the people who have the needs to travel around QTSC.

Since July 2017, QTSC has completely installed the public lighting system in the internal roads, which ensures the supervising, control and operation of the entire public lighting system remotely. The system can automatically adjust to increase/ decrease the light intensity depending on outdoor weather conditions, thus helping to save the energy and extending the bulbs’ life. Since the system was installed, there have been about 32% of power consumption saved per month and 179.22 kg of CO2 reduced per year. This is very significant figures to prove our commitment to protect the environment/wastewater as well as build a green park.

Early in October 2017, QTSC has completely installed the Smart Water, an IoT application on clean water supplying and consumption management. All neccessary information can be displayed on a laptop or mobile app such as: quality of the supplying water, water consumption, maintenance information, damaged meters, leakage incident, relevant notifications,  etc. so that the technical team can initiatively resovle the problems as well as save a lot of time in data collection and billing processing. This solution allows QTSC to easily collect customers information, bring the best customer services when providing suitable maintenance and promptly repair plans.

In October 2017, QTSC launched the online monitoring system on wastewater indicators (according to QCVN 14:2008) at QTSC’s Water Treatment Plant. This system will send the monitoring data continuously and directly to the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Ho Chi Minh City, ensure the parameters of reused wastewater to achieve the category B. All wastewater after the treatment is utilized to irrigate plants and grass in QTSC. This system limits the exploitation of groundwater and saves operating costs of wells.
